The idea of establishing the British Scientific School (previously called the Ideal School and Kindergarten saw the light into the world following 15 years as a counselor and later on as a supervisor at the Palestinian counseling center for Development and Research on childhood and early childhood programs in Nablus city, West Bank – Palestine. At that time, I worked with students aged 4 to 15 years old, who had learning deficiencies, however, the main obstacle was convincing their schools to cooperate with us, the schools and the whole Palestinian Educational system did not care enough, which made our mission almost impossible. I had to quit my job at the center in 2007, and established a simple Kindergarten. Kids loved the place and their parents realized how much we cared for every single kid. We focused on the kids’ minds, and helped them learn how to think, how to analyze problems and how to solve them. Three years later, our work prospered and our school was established.
Now the School has 2 campuses with a total indoor space of 6000 square meters and a total outdoor space of 3000 square meters
And a total of 700 students...
We prepare and equip students with the skills they need to succeed not only in the checkpoints and qualifications, but also in their whole life. In order to make sure all that happens, we moved the school to a magnificent new campus that is highly equipped and provides the best atmosphere for both students and teachers as well. It was designed by the best architect in Palestine (Eng. Firas Sameeh Tubeileh), it took us three years of hard work to get it finally done, and ready to welcome our beloved students. The new campus is 5000 square meter of indoor space and 2000 square meter of outdoor space, it has 23 classrooms, 3 science labs, 1 ICT lab, 1 Art and design room, 1 music room, an indoor gymnastics hall, a cafeteria, a multipurpose hall, and a library that is equipped with the most updated books available, resources in Arabic, and in English as well. The new campus also has a football, basketball, handball, and volleyball court. The new campus was designed to ensure the maximum safety for every one inside, it is anti-seismic, provided with a high-quality firefighting system, smoke detectors, gas detectors, motion sensors, anti-slip stairs, and so on.
